CODE INTERTEXT AS ANALYSIS UNIT

Abstract. The article is devoted to the definition of the concept of code intertext, as well as the separation of the concepts «intertextuality» and»intertext». As a result of the research, these concepts were separated as follows: intertextuality is a general property of the text due to the presence of the fragments or whole texts in the receiving text, as well as the codes of other texts. Intertext is the specific cases of intertextuality. Intertextuality is usually created by more than one intertext. The code intertext consists of the recipient text that accepts the term and refers it to the prototext.
