Abstract. The study of expressive syntactic means, the stylistic use of various syntactic categories by individual writers seems to be a relevant direction in the field of linguistic research. Taking into account a certain study of the general problems of expressiveness, it should be noted that the problem of syntactic expressivity is insufficiently deeply considered, as well as the use of expressive syntactic means in the idiostyle of writers.
