GLOBALIZATION AS THE MAIN FACTOR IN THE FORMATION OF THE MODERN GEOPOLITICAL SPACE

Abstract. This article examines the process of globalization as the main factor in the formation of the modern geopolitical space, it also says that the process of globalization launched a mechanism for folding the institution of national sovereignty, which is gradually dying out, but for different states in a different way. It is most likely that if humanity manages to avoid global cataclysms, then in the distant future, new states will first cease to appear on the world map, and later the process of disappearance of the existing ones will begin.
